The Company is pleased to confirm with immediate effect James Wolfe has been promoted to Commercial Director, along with Mark Osborne to Operations Director.
Tracey Thomas who was recently promoted to head up the sales team at the Gourmet Candy Company, for both the Domestic and International markets will become the new Sales Director.
The Board at The Gourmet Candy Company feel this was an essential move to continue not only the growth of the business but to strengthen the senior Management within the Company to cope with the ever increasing demands of a dynamically moving business.
James, Mark and Tracey bring to the table many years of experience not only within GCC but in other Food Companies and over the past few months have recruited key staff to feel roles that will ensure we continue to offer our clients both innovative products and an exceptional level of service.

Cotswold Fayre

We are pleased to confirm that Cotswold Fayre will be stocking a selection of seasonal offerings from both the Van Lauren and Lomer ranges.
Cotswold Fayre supply over 1000 customers - mainly farm shops, delicatessens, garden centres, cafes, gift shops and restaurants with around 1,500 product lines. We are delighted to be working with them and look forward to developing our trading relationship throughout 2008 and beyond.

We are pleased to announce that Lings Turkish Delight, Traditional Fruit Slices and Ginger
products are to be re launched later in the year with a complete new look.
In addition to the rebranding the Turkish Delight has gone back to the original 1922 recipe
when the product was 1st introduced to the UK.

Real Chocolat of France - le chocolat organique fait en France

We are pleased to confirm a new trading partner, Real Chocolat of France, manufacturers of Organic Chocolate Bars. The range is due to launch in August and will continue to strengthen our position as a supplier of Luxury Confectionery Brands. The manufacturer is about to open a new factory to ensure capacity is maintained since demand for the product in 2007 far outweighed the capacity. Sophie Mayer Export manger for Real Chocolate recently visited Gourmet Candy and despite considerable interest in their product range from many UK Companies felt Gourmet Candy were well placed and to deliver the right results in the coming years.

Michelle Lowth is a chocolatier, trained in the Callebaut Chocolate Academy. she has a passion for chocolate passed down from her Grandparents with whom she spent many a hot and long summer holiday on thier estate in the South of Italy.
Michelle established Danucci on a simple but strong guiding philosophy: to create the finest gourmet chocolates and not to compromise on anything.
